Migrating users from Redhat to Debian Linux

If you want to migrate existing users from redhat to debian linux copy the contents of below files for all the users from redhat to debian Linux. Before copying check the userid and group id’s of redhat linux machine are already existing in debian linux.If yes give the some other userid or groupid. 

passwd ,shadow ,group ,gshadow

These files are located in /etc directory
